VoxNeuro’s cognitive health assessments are a Health Canada cleared lab developed service. Our reports are to be used by a physician, nurse practitioner or clinical specialist as an assessment tool to assist in a patient’s diagnosis and treatment.
Referrals are accepted from physicians or clinical specialists helping manage a patient’s concussion or traumatic brain injury.
For concussion patients:
Assessments are completed at the VoxNeuro Assessment Centre at L.R. Wilson Hall, Room 4020, McMaster University, 1280 Main St W, Hamilton, ON L8N 1E9.
For traumatic brain injury patients:
VoxNeuro’s assessment team will complete the assessment at the patient’s location.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Phone: 289 659 3396
The report will be shared back with the referring physician or clinical specialist, who can use the report to inform next steps in a patient’s care plan.
Follow-up assessments are recommended to help determine if rehabilitation has been effective, if alternate methods should be tried, or to inform if a patient can be medically cleared to return to regular activity.
